Weather Expectations for Greece in Summer

When you hit Greece in July, get ready for some serious heat! Expect daytime highs around 91°F (33°C), and if you’re feeling lucky, it might even hit 100°F (38°C) on those super sunny days. Nights cool down a bit to around 72°F (22°C), which is perfect for a little evening stroll or enjoying some gelato.

The air is pretty dry with humidity hanging around 40%, so you won’t feel like you’re swimming through a sauna. Just keep an eye out for those occasional breezy moments that might surprise you. They can be refreshing or, if you’re not careful, might send your hat flying!

For your wardrobe, think lightweight and breathable. Cotton and linen are your best friends here, plus a light jacket for those cooler nights. Trust me, you’ll want to bring a cute hat and some sunscreen with at least SPF 30!
